TargetSystemCreateRequest

Enum TargetSystemCreateRequest

Source
pub enum TargetSystemCreateRequest {
    Automatic {
        name: String,
        kind: TargetSystemKind,
        password_policy: PasswordPolicy,
        supports_session_termination: bool,
    },
    Manual {
        name: String,
        password_policy: PasswordPolicy,
    },
}
Expand description

Request to create or update a target system. Method and kind can’t change after creation, but TargetSystemsClient::update still takes the full shape.

Serializes with a method discriminant matching the server’s own.

Variants§

§

Automatic

A connector rotates the credential by writing it into the target system.

Fields

§name: String

Display name.

§kind: TargetSystemKind

The integration that performs the rotation.

§password_policy: PasswordPolicy

Constraints the connector generates the new credential under.

§supports_session_termination: bool

Whether the integration can terminate the account’s sessions after rotating.

§

Manual

An operator rotates the credential out of band and records that they did.

Fields

§name: String

Display name.

§password_policy: PasswordPolicy

The rules the operator is expected to follow by hand; nothing enforces them, since no connector runs a manual rotation.

Implementations§

Source§

impl TargetSystemCreateRequest

Source

pub fn name(&self) -> &str

The display name, whichever method this request carries.

Source

pub fn password_policy(&self) -> &PasswordPolicy

The password policy, whichever method this request carries.

Source

pub fn method(&self) -> TargetSystemMethod

The rotation method this request carries: never TargetSystemMethod::Unknown.

Source

pub fn kind(&self) -> Option<TargetSystemKind>

The integration kind. None for a Manual request.

Source

pub fn supports_session_termination(&self) -> Option<bool>

Whether the integration can terminate sessions after rotating. None for a Manual request.
